Sugar Island Cruise
Enjoy the natural beauty and history of Moosehead Lake aboard a 1914 steamboat with narration of the region’s rich history. This 3 hour cruise takes passengers to the widest part of Moosehead Lake, just north of Sugar Island. Lunch fare, beer and wine available from the galley.
We accept Mastercard and Visa. Tickets purchased online will be emailed to the purchaser at the address they provide and should be printed and exchanged for boarding passes at the ticket office in the museum. Tickets may also be purchased in person on location in the Moosehead Marine Museum ticket office.
The Katahdin cruises rain or shine. Tickets are nonrefundable unless a cruise is cancelled by Moosehead Marine Museum, in which case please contact us to arrange for a refund. For applicable events: Senior tickets are for those 65 and older, Youth tickets are for ages 11-16 and Child tickets are for ages 2-10. Children under 2 ride free.
Maine state law requires all children ages 10 and under to wear a life jacket – life jackets are available on board. Sorry, no pets, smoking or outside alcohol allowed.
