No. Although we have allowed outside food aboard the Kate in the past, our Board of Directors has changed this policy to comply with Health Department regulations. No outside food or drink will be permitted on board.

The Katahdin cruises rain or shine. On rare occasions a cruise may be canceled due to high winds or dangerous weather conditions. Tickets are nonrefundable unless a cruise is canceled by Katahdin Cruises.

Museum admission is included with the purchase of a cruise ticket. For those who wish to visit the museum without cruising aboard the Katahdin, admission is by donation.

Yes. Our military discount is 10% but is only available for passengers who purchase their tickets in person.

We board passengers by party in the order their reservation was made.

The lower deck of the boat is wheelchair accessible. Our restrooms have significant thresholds so wheelchair bound passengers should use the accessible restrooms shoreside or make sure they have assistance if they need the onboard restrooms.
